Our Hemp CBD + CBDA Oil Blend
Will this make my dog high?
No! ElleVet products cannot make your dog high. THC is the compound that causes a “high,” We have less than .3% THC, which will not cause a psychoactive effect. Some dogs will sleep more, but this is a positive result. Sensitivity to the product does not imply your pet is “high.”
What is the difference between Mobility Oil and ElleVet Complete?
ElleVet Complete is a more descriptive name and has a higher potency than Mobility Oil. Due to higher potency, we adjusted the dosing accordingly[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title= “Are there side effects when using CBD oil for my dog?”]Typically, side effects are not observed – however, occasional dogs show signs of transient GI side effects, most often soft stools or diarrhea, and mild sleepiness during the initial loading dose, particularly in smaller dogs where dosing might be harder to control. What is the potency of your oil?
Our oil has a potency of 70mg per ml. Each ElleVet large chew contains 19mg of CBD+CBDA, and each small chew contains 12.7mg.
What if my dog eats more than he should?
Typically, side effects are not observed – however, occasional dogs show signs of transient GI side effects, most often soft stools or diarrhea, and mild sleepiness during initial loading dose, particularly in smaller dogs where dosing might be harder to control.
How should I store my oil?
ElleVet CBD+CBDA oil does not need to be refrigerated and should be stored in a cool, dark place – like a cabinet! Do not store it next to your stove or on a window sill.
Is there a difference between cannabis for dogs and hemp for dogs?
Yes. As of the Farm Bill of Dec 2018, hemp has been removed from the controlled substances list and is legal everywhere. However, CBD derived from marijuana remains a controlled substance. ElleVet products are strictly legal, hemp-derived CBD.
Do you have a COA for your product?
Yes. We test every batch, and our COA and terpene profile is always available upon request.
Is your product organic?
Yes, ElleVet products are entirely organic. Our hemp is organically grown, our sesame seed carrier oil is organic, and all chew ingredients are organic.
How much of your hemp oil is hemp CBD?
Over 95% of our oil is CBD and CBDa. The combination of these cannabinoids is crucial to the strength of our unique blend. Cannabinoids and terpenes create the entourage effect, resulting in a more effective product.

What is your return
policy?
ElleVet Sciences LLC has full faith in our Products. Unopened Products can be returned for a full refund within 30 calendar days of purchase. We cannot accept returns on expired products. If You purchased our Product from a wholesaler, please contact them directly to enquire about any return policy they may have.
Where can you ship your products?
We are pleased to offer free ground shipping retail orders over $150.00 and for wholesale orders over $250.00. For retail orders, less than $150.00 within the U.S., ground shipping is a flat rate of $4.95. Ground shipping generally takes 3-5 business days from the time an order is placed to arrival at your door. Ground shipping orders may be slightly delayed during holidays and promotions. For wholesale orders less than $250.00 within the U.S. or expedited shipping options for retail purchases, please call us at 844-673-7287. We, unfortunately, do not ship internationally.

My state veterinary medical board says that it will determine which laws apply if a client complains to the board because of an adverse reaction from a hemp CBD product — what does this mean?
It means a veterinary medical board will treat hemp CBD like any other product (glucosamine, fish oil, etc.) should a client complain about adverse reactions.
What’s the difference between animal dietary/nutritional supplements and “dietary supplements”?
The FDA regulates human dietary supplements under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA), which prohibits CBD or any other active ingredient in an FDA-approved drug from human dietary supplements. DSHEA does not apply to animal supplements.
Are hemp CBD products legal for veterinarians to use and sell?
Hemp CBD animal supplements like ElleVet products are legal on a Federal level and in many states for veterinary use and sale. Hemp CBD products that are a food or an unapproved FDA drug are illegal federally and in many states.
Can you clarify the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) statement that there are no approved cannabis animal products?
This means that the FDA has not approved any animal products that it regulates (including drugs, food, medical devices) that have cannabis in them. The FDA allows hemp CBD animal supplements and other animals supplements like Denamarine and to be sold without FDA approval.The FDA also states that hemp products can be legal depending on intended use, labelling, and marketing. Can the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) or my state’s veterinary medical association revoke or suspend my license for using/selling hemp CBD products?
No. AVMA and state VMAs are voluntary professional organizations with no legal authority to revoke or suspend a veterinarian’s license.
Dosing & Restrictions
Can I give my dog CBD oil at a higher dose?
Yes, if your dog had a very uncomfortable day, or if you have extra
activities planned, you can double the dose. If your dog does better on the loading dose, feel free to stay on that dose. Many dogs benefit from higher doses.
How many times a day should my dog take ElleVet?
Every 8-12 hours is recommended, based on our pharmacokinetic study.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”You recommend a higher dose for a week, then lower the dose. What if my dog doesn’t do as well on the lower dose?”]Some dogs
benefit greatly from remaining on the higher dose.
What’s in your Peanut Butter chews?
Hemp oil, sesame oil, peanut butter, rice bran, Glucosamine, sweet potato, molasses, brewers yeast, sugar, water, glycerin, and rice starch.
Since your product contains Glucosamine, can I stop giving my dog a glucosamine supplement?
Yes. Our chews contain the same amount of Glucosamine (500 mg) as leading supplements so that you can discontinue supplements. Our oil does not contain Glucosamine.
What if we miss a dose?
Resume as soon as possible to maintain support.
How long does CBD oil for my dog take to work?
Anywhere between two days and one week. Some pet owners see a noticeable difference within 24 hours, but large dogs (100+ lbs) can take up to two weeks to
show improvement.
My dog has allergies and/or food sensitivity. Can I still use your product?
Yes, but we recommend using our oil rather than our chews.
Can I give my dog CBD oil with other supplements/medications?
Typically, side effects are not observed – however, occasionally, dogs show signs of mild sleepiness during the initial loading dose, particularly in smaller dogs where dosing might be harder to control. If your pet is taking medications, it is important to let your veterinarian know about the supplements you are giving your pet.

Yes. We put research behind all of our products and test them with the best veterinarians in the country, including a pharmacokinetic study and clinical trial with Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, we are in three clinical trials with the University of Florida Veterinary School. We have also performed long-term safety studies for both dogs and cats.
